This Puerto Madero Tango Show conteins a lot of acting, which undoubtedly makes it the closest Tango show to a musical comedy in Buenos Aires. With the excuse of narrating the history of European immigration in Buenos Aires, numbers sung and danced by a large troupe of dancers and singers are shown, while the orchestra, a sextet, provides a background from an elevated side, so that the large stage is all for singing and dancing. The first half of the show is pure Tango, telling the entry of immigrants precisely through that same port where the venue is located.
