La Carbonera Tango Show is a new spectacle in Buenos Aires, offering a unique option by combining traditional Tango with the modernity of a lounge-style space. It is the first Tango Show Lounge in Buenos Aires, where the menu of sophisticated tapas menú and gourmet empanadas is accompanied by cocktails and good wine.

About La Carbonera Tango Show:

There is an atmosphere that could be suitable and modern for any type of music until the Tango takes over the spacious stage at La Carbonera Tango Show.

Located on one of the streets that has best preserved the typical colonial facades of San Telmo, this former coal store has been transformed into a vibrant cultural center. The room is horizontal with the stage running along one side, so the maximum distance from the stage does not exceed six meters. The entire Tango show is beside us, who enjoy it in extremely comfortable armchairs as it must be in a Tango Show lounge like this. The elevated orchestra is located to one side and is perfectly visible with high-definition projections when necessary.

Images of old Buenos Aires appear, and couples in impeccable costumes recreate the joy of the first Tango dances, when the world was new and immigrants continued to arrive at our port.

In terms of dance, these are world-class dancers, highly recognized in the dance industry, with a high level of skill in both styles of tango: Stage Tango and Traditional to-floor. Appropriate costumes accompany them in each choreography, as well as assist them in the highly sensual choreographies. The beauty of their bodies complements the beauty of Tango and the virtues of these outstanding dancers.
The stage design features essential props, but the atmosphere is generated by HD image projections and, of course, a powerful state-of-the-art lighting system. The lighting truly creates diverse and successful atmospheres at all times. Modernity at the service of Tradition.



La Carbonera Tango Buenos Aires also has high-definition sound equipment; listening to this infallible quintet with all the textures of their instruments is a delight. The two singers complement the show very well and even give us the luxury of participating in some of the choreographies. Once again, in both cases, the attire they wear is remarkable.

The table service is efficient and very attentive, flexible and empathetic. The selection of tapas and empanadas is satisfactory in both quality and quantity, La Carbonera is the first and only Tango show lounge. It's important to note that the entire menu is based on typical Argentine dishes, reworked by the chef in pursuit of a gourmet style that maintains its roots.
