When we check the pictures we frequently take at the Tango Shows, we usually find little gems. This serie of photos illuminates a particular aspect of the show of Tango Porteño. The music is a special type of Tango named vals.



The melody is soft, and when it has lyrics they will be about a sweet nostalgie of a young love. In this performance the "empty" background of stars creates the mood served only by a makeup cabinet with a huge mirror. Behind the stars of the scenography the sextet is playing, she is getting ready to meet the man she loves. The dancing couple is dressed in formal attire. They will play graceful movements of innocent seduction and finally the performance will end with them sealing the moment with a romantic kiss: This tells us itself the beginning of a love story.

This innocent love story is performed every night on one of the largest tango stages in Buenos Aires. The dancers move across the vast stage, while the lights above create the illusion of a starry night sky, stretching all the way up to the soaring ceiling. Tango becomes part of the fantasy.
